EISA deployed an EOM to conduct an independent assessment of the electoral process, led by Aminata Touré, former Prime Minister of Senegal, supported by the Deputy Mission Leader, EISA's Liberia 2017 EISA observer missionExecutive Director Denis Kadima. The mission comprised 14 observers drawn from Civil Society Organisations and Election Management Bodies from 12 Traffic control at a rallyAfrican countries.

Coordination of EOMs work

EOMs invited to a consultative meeting by ECOWAS included the AU, Liberia 2017 campaign rallythe EU, the NDI, IFES, TCC, ECOWAS Network of Electoral Commissions, EISA and the OSI-West Africa. A similar information exchange meeting was scheduled prior to the release of the preliminary statements of the EOMs.

2011 Presidential and legislative elections EOM

The Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) sent a 15 member Observer Mission mission to the 8 November 2011 run-off elections in Monrovia, Liberia. The Mission was led by Justice Irene C. Mambilima, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Zambia. The observers were drawn from Civil Society Organisations and Election Management Bodies from Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Republic of South Sudan, Uganda and Zambia.
