The Norwegian Foreign Affairs Ministry funds the "Strengthening Women Participation in Democracy and Governance" project in Madagascar and the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) the "Promoting the Representation of Malagasy Women in Politics and Public Affairs" project. Further finding comes from Danida, the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)
